GRIT is hiring on behalf of our client in the AEC sector for a skilled Machine Learning Engineer with strong Python expertise and experience delivering within larger, cross-functional teams. In this role, you’ll play a key part in designing, developing, and deploying ML models and AI-driven solutions on Azure, collaborating closely with BAs, developers, and data professionals to support innovation across the built environment.
What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models into production environments

• Collaborate with analysts, engineers, and business stakeholders to transform prototypes into scalable solutions

• Enhance MLOps pipelines and ensure performance, reliability, and accuracy

• Leverage Azure ML, AI Search, OpenAI and cloud-based data services

• Monitor, update and maintain ML models to ensure optimal performance

What you’ll bring:

• 1+ year of commercial experience in machine learning and Python

• Solid grasp of tools like scikit-learn, pandas, NumPy, matplotlib, Plotly

• Experience working in production environments with Git and cloud (Azure preferred)

• Proficiency in Python (using VSCode or PyCharm)

• Strong problem-solving, time management, and communication skills

• A degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering or related field

• Azure ML experience or certification highly desirable

Highly Desirable:

• Knowledge of MLOps (MLFlow, Optuna), REST APIs (FastAPI, Flask), and Linux

• Experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow

• Familiarity with 3D geometry or IFC/IfcOpenShell
